How to use 2.0?

1. What will you find in the SaberMasters box?

In the SaberMasters box you will find:
 1x pack of screws and hex,
 1x pack of bolts,
 1x charging cable,
 1x tape for better grip,
 1x polycarbonate blade,
 1x metal handle made of aviation aluminum

2. How to assemble your lightsaber?

Your lightsaber consists of a handle and a blade. They are connected using 4 screws or 2 bolts and 2 screws. Place the handle on a flat surface and insert the blade, making sure there is no gap between the handle and the blade. The screws and/or bolts are placed on three sides of the handle - 2 on the front, 1 on the left and 1 on the right. The screws are tightened using an Allen key, and the bolts are tightened by hand.

3. How do you charge your lightsaber?

The charging port is located on the front of the lightsaber, just above the button. Please use only the included 5V 1A USB charging cable or 5V wall adapter. Charging takes between 4 and 6 hours. Battery life is up to 1 hour with heavy use.

WARNING: Failure to follow these instructions may result in a risk of fire or damage to the electronics. This will void your warranty.

4. How do you turn on your lightsaber?

Press and hold the button for 3 to 5 seconds until you hear the command “Power on.” The button will light up to indicate that the sword is activated.

5. How do you turn off your lightsaber?

Press and hold the button for 10 seconds until you hear the command “Power off.” The button will turn off to confirm that the sword is turned off.

6. How do you activate the lightsaber blade (once it is turned on)?

There are two ways to activate the blade:

  • Press the button (the sword should already be on).

  • While holding the handle, rotate your wrist to the right (the sword should already be on).

7. How to turn off the blade (without turning off the sword)?

There are three ways to turn off the blade without turning off the lightsaber:

  • While the blade is on, hold the button for 3 seconds (until it flashes 3 times). The blade will turn off, but the sword will remain on and ready to be reactivated.

  • While holding the sword, rotate your wrist to the right - the blade will go out, but the sword will remain on.

  • Point the blade in the opposite direction (you should see the bottom of the handle), then quickly pull your hand towards you - the blade will go out, but the sword will remain active.

8. How to adjust the lightsaber sound?

The lightsaber has 4 different sound levels that cycle through:

  • Muffled

  • Low level

  • Intermediate level

  • High level

While the sword is on (but not activated), press the button once. Each press changes the sound setting.

9. How to change the color of the blade?

There are three ways to change the color of the blade:

  • While the blade is on, hold the sword in front of you and press the button until it flashes 2 times - an automatic color change will begin and you will hear the command "Color change". When you select a color, press the button once to save it - you will hear "Color selected".

  • Point the blade towards the ground, hold the button and simultaneously turn your wrist to the left – the colors will start changing and you will hear “Color change.” Press the button once to save the selected color.

  • Point the blade towards the ground, hold the button and simultaneously rotate your wrist to the right. You will hear “Color change.” To select a desired color, continue rotating your wrist clockwise – a manual color change will begin in real time.

10. How to change sound profiles (Baselit version)?

Your lightsaber comes with 16 pre-loaded sound profiles, each inspired by a different hero.

The sound profiles are:
 The Protector, Wanderer, The Knight, The Assassin, The Dark Sword, New Horizon, The Chosen, Truly Lost, Double Agent, The Princess, Fallen Apprentice Magenta, The Dark Lord Order, The Master, The Third Hunter, The Son, The Dark Empress

There are two ways to change the sound profile:

  • While the sword is on (but not activated), point it at the ground and rotate your wrist to the left - you will hear the name of the current sound profile (e.g. "The Assassin"). Rotate left again to switch to the next profile (e.g. "The Princess").

  • While the sword is on (but not activated), hold it in front of you and press the button until it flashes 4 times. After the fourth flash, you will hear the name of the selected profile. Wait 1 second and press the button again to move to the next profile - again after 4 flashes you will hear its name.

11. How to change sound profiles (Xenopixel version)?

Your Xenopixel lightsaber comes with 34 pre-loaded sound profiles, each inspired by a different character. All profiles are stored on an SD card that is already inserted into the sword.

The sound profiles are:

12. How to change the blade effect (Baselit version)?

Your lightsaber has 4 different blade effects:
 Unstable , Pulse , Flash Blade and Steady

To change the effect, hold the sword in front of you and press the button until it flashes 2 times (while the sword is on but not activated). After the second flash you will hear the name of the selected effect. If you want to move on to the next effect, wait 1 second and press the button again until it flashes 2 times.


 13. How to change the blade effect (Xenopixel version)?

Your Xenopixel lightsaber features 20 different blade effects:
Fire Blade , Steady , Unstable , Rainbow Blade , Candy Blade , Crack Blade , Pulse , Flash Blade , Standard Blade , Velocity Blade , Torch Blade , Blaster Blade , Ghost Blade and more.

To change them, hold the sword in front of you and press the button until it flashes 2 times (while the sword is on but not activated). After the second flash you will hear the name of the current effect. If you want to move on to the next one, wait 1 second and repeat the same thing – press the button until 2 flashes.

14. How to change the power-on effect (Xenopixel version)?

Your Xenopixel lightsaber has 7 different power-up effects:
Broken Ignition , Stack Ignition , Photon Ignition , Warp Ignition , Phaser Ignition , Scavenger Ignition , Hunter Ignition

To change them, hold the sword in front of you and press the button until it flashes 3 times (while the sword is on but not activated). After the third flash you will hear the name of the selected power-up effect. If you want to move on to the next one, wait 1 second and repeat – press the button again until it flashes 3 times.

15. How to activate the blaster dodge effect?

While the lightsaber is activated (the blade is glowing), hold it in front of you and press the button once. This will activate the blaster dodge effect. Press the button again to play additional blaster effects.

16. How to activate the Force effect?

While the sword is activated (the blade is on), hold it in front of you, press and hold the button, while simultaneously quickly rotating your wrist left and right.

17. How to change the battery?

To remove the old battery, hold the top of the handle (above the charging port) with one hand and carefully unscrew (twist) the bottom of the handle - the one below the button. This will reveal the battery compartment. Remove the old battery, insert the new one, and screw the handle back onto the top of the handle.

18. Troubleshooting Your Lightsaber

  • Lightsaber won't turn on even though it's fully charged

Remove the battery (hold the top of the handle – above the charging port – with one hand and carefully unscrew the handle below the button). Check the battery contact plates – if they are not making good contact, straighten them slightly outwards. Put the battery back in and try again. If there is no reaction – charge again (recommended using an external charger).

  • No sound when moving, buzzing or hitting

Usually the cause is a dead battery. Charge the sword for at least 4 hours.

  • The lightsaber suddenly stopped working

Remove the battery and check the contacts. Reinsert the battery, charge the saber and try again. If the problem persists, contact us at: TheForce@sabermasters.com

  • The sword heats up around the emitter

It is normal for the LEDs in the emitter to generate heat, but the emitter itself must dissipate it. Therefore, do not power the electronics outside the handle , as the accumulated heat can damage the internal components without the aluminum emitter to dissipate it.
